National
Directors - Chris & Jennifer Haaijer
Jennifer has been full-time with CEF since 1977 and Chris since 1984.
Chris is originally from Holland and Jennifer from Northern Ireland.
They have been serving with CEF in Eastern Europe, Ireland, Southern
Europe and Western Europe before taking on the role of National Directors
of CEF in Britain. Chris has done quite a bit of pioneering work while
Jennifer has been a lot involved in training and writing teaching materials.
Our role as National Directors is to help and encourage workers and volunteers
and to serve the churches who want to reach children in Britain with
the Gospel.
Glasgow Team
Stan Anderson and Jack
Simpson (volunteer) look after the work in the National Office, while Judy Buis from U.S.A. is involved in developing the work in Scotland through training
and outreach. (Judy will return to Scotland for another 2 years in June
2011, pending visa approval.)
London Team
Steve & Rachel Ball are
spearheading the CEF work in East London. Working together with them
is Adel Pico-Hicklin, who is originally from the Philippines. Eun Sook Geum from Korea is also working in London.
Missionaries
Five CEF missionaries from Britain are serving at the CEF European Headquarters
in Kilchzimmer, Switzerland (Viv & Margaret
Stringer, Russell & Elizabeth Brooks and Samantha Beck), two are serving with CEF in Ireland (Jim & Janice Dobbie) and one is serving in a sensitive region.
