Good News Club®
A regular (normally weekly) after-school Bible club.
Megan currently runs a weekly Good News Club® for primary aged children in Roch, Pembrokeshire. If you would like help to establish a new Good News Club as part of your ministry, please do get in touch.
Each session runs for up to an hour and a half and includes a Bible story, memory verse, songs, and a range of different activities. Clubs can be held in several different venues including schools, churches and community centres.
CEF has produced a well thought out curriculum to help leaders as well as other visual resources. Many of these can be found free to download from www.teachkids.eu.
The Good News Club & Youth Club 500 mile sponsored walk was completed on
The initial target of raising £150 has been abundantly exceeded, as the community has supported them, raising a total of £600/€720.
These funds have been donated to the Hope for Ukraine project online. You can watch the short video of the children on their final walk together.
Praying that this will encourage those involved in creating the gospel packs.
Megan has established a weekly Youth Club at her home church, working with children who have transitioned from Primary School to Secondary School (Year 7) as well as children in years 8 and 9. The young people explore Biblical truths in a variety of ways, through mini Bible studies, memory verses, songs and the Wordless Book. The Youth are also engaged in sharing fellowship together whilst preparing and eating their own cooked food, as well as playing team games.
5-Day Club® ministry
Reaching children where they are.
Last Summer, Megan was privileged to run a 5-Day Club in Pembrokeshire. These open-air meetings are specifically aimed at reaching children who are not attending the local church or engaged in Christian activities already. The programme can be adapted to suit your location and will include a Bible Story, memory verse, easy to learn songs and choruses, as well as fun games and crafts.
Last Summer Megan used ‘The Big Picture’ CEF material. You can find copies of the documents used here:
Megan is looking forward to running the children’s programme at the Keswick in Wales Convention (25th – 29th July 2022). To read more about the convention click here: www.keswickinwales.org
