CEF of Germany has prepared 2 videos for children, one about Martin Luther’s life and one about Onesimus. You can watch the video with Martin Luther and the one with Onesimus. These videos are supported by colouring books with the video on DVD. The texts for videos and the booklets are available for download.

CEF of Ireland have provided “A Special Promise” video. You can watch it here in English.

Please note: If you want to use the sound effects and background music, it is necessary to purchase licences. The Dropbox folder shows where licenses can be purchased. Otherwise different music/sound effects will need to be used.

Getting started in Bible Storytelling in a Toddler Group is sometimes daunting! It isn’t just that there are toddlers that we want to keep engaged but their adults are also listening. This short course is to help you feel more confident and prepared. It can work as a refresher course too. Each session is short with lots of practical ideas.

1 – A brief Introduction to the mini course. Who’s our audience? What stories shall we tell?

2 – Finding Your Focus. A storytelling technique that helps children listen.

3 – Engagement with the Bible Story. How to encourage active listening.

4 – Build and Tell your Bible Story. We bring everything we’ve learnt together into a story that’s ready to tell.

‘How to…’ videos for craft ideas will be coming soon.

Bible Story Cards

At this site you can view and download sets of bible story cards used by Rev. John Grindell in his children’s ministry. They were drawn by John and his artist friend, Mrs. Pam Thatcher. They are suitable for use in any children’s ministry but have been used extensively in school assemblies and church children’s meetings. Please visit the Bible Story Cards website.
